SKEMS REGION II UNIFORM DAY:
Uniform Day is designed
to recognize EMS personnel and their agencies. Regardless of full time, part-time
or volunteer status, any EMS personnel may participate.
To enter the SKEMS REGION II Uniform Day, personnel must be in
uniform. Awards ware going to be given for the most personnel in uniform from any
one service and second most. Those traveling the farthest distance, in and out of
state, to attend the seminar will be awarded too.
This is an activity designed to give EMS personnel an
opportunity to show their pride in their service and in the jobs they do. SKEMS
hopes you will participate in EMS Uniform Day on Saturday - April 19, 2008.

Nomination Deadline - March 15, 2008
As
winter is settling in around us and the Holidays are fast approaching. We ask that
you cuddle up in a warm blanket with the KEMTA newsletter and read it cover to
cover. Allow your thoughts...to expand...and think about your EMS family for a few
minutes. Consider those you work with...think about those that have been
outstanding in one way or another. You know who they are. Now...write it down!
Send an email, telling about that person to
barb_stif@hotmail.com .
These nominations will be presented to the
Awards Committee, to be considered for one of KEMTA's prestigious awards. Look
through the criteria on our Awards page. Tell your
colleagues and get them to email nominations as well. The more substantial
evidance we receive on a nominee - increases the odds for them to receive an
award. We are making it easier this year by accepting email nominations at
barb_stif@hotmail.com so why wait!?!
Awards will be presented during the Awards Banquet on Saturday evening.
