KEMTA - Kansas Emergency Medical Technicians Association

KEMTA is a representative group of people who work in many areas of emergency medical service, all of us with a common goal of serving our fellow human beings in time of need. Working together we are improving our profession in all aspects by sharing our problems, successes, and new ideas. Our primary membership is made up of First Responders, Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians - Intermediate, Emergency Medical Technicians - Defibrillator and Mobile Intensive Care Technicians.

Our Organization

The Kansas Emergency Medical Technicians Association (KEMTA) was formerly the Kansas Ambulance and Rescue Association. We are a state-wide Association administered by a president, vice president, secretary-treasurer, and board members. Officers and board members are elected annually at our state seminar and general business meeting held each year. Any active or associate member is eligible to hold office. Association Officers and Board of Directors meet regularly to conduct the ongoing business of the association. Any KEMTA member is welcomed and encouraged to attend meetings of the Board of Directors.
